This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to pattyburkartart.com, and Patty Burkart Art ("Company" “Us”)and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to the Company include pattyburkartart.com. The Company's website is an original art site. By using the Company website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

COLLECTING PERSONAL INFO

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, the Company may collect personally identifiable information, such as your first and last name, mailing and email address, and phone number

If you purchase products or services from pattyburkartart.com, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) signing up for special offers; (c) sending us an email message; (d) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products or services.   • We use Squarespace They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

    Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. Your data is stored on a secure server.

  • The Company may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Company or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the Company; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Company, or the public.

  • The Company may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (email, name, address, phone number) is transferred to the third party. The Company may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. The Company's website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience.

PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Squarespace stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Currently, our payment processor is Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your complete payment information in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy.
